Putting Faith into Action
We foster self-discovery, self-growth and self-acceptance on the part of participants, with the knowledge of how God loves them and has a plan to work through them to show His love for others. We help participants to work together efficiently to build a better community.
Last year our program performed over 30 service projects including: collecting food and books for the poor; delivering poinsettias at Christmas to parish families who lost loved ones during the year; participating in Lower Perkiomen Challenger League games for the disabled; collecting soccer equipment for a Jamaican Outreach Program; babysitting for the parish Blood Drive, raising money and participating in the Walk Against Hunger, raising money and participating in the race for “A Baby’s Breath”; sending gifts and cards to the troops in Iraq; holding a bake sale to raise money for the Tsunami victims.
We strive to develop a spirit of Christian community among our participants. Our approach is intended to help members assume a measure of social responsibility and challenge them to emulate Christ’s example of servant leadership
